Lotro beta NDA lifted

Today, Turbine announced that the non disclosure agreement for lotro beta has now been lifted.
All beta participants can now freely discuss the game :)

The founders program

Turbine has annouced a founders program. If you pre-order the game between now and release-date you get some special offers, among them a liftime subscription.

Bored kids again..

We just had another kid hack our site. Hopefully everything is back to normal now, but any posts/pm's etc. made between the backup I used and the time of the hack, is lost. I don't think there was more than 4-5 hours in between though, so hopefully everything is here.

Various new lotro info

Quite a few good updates recently.
First of, we got a new dev-diary by Scenario, giving us a tour on how to create the Wild Lands. A great and detailed diary.
There has also opened up a new section of information on the lotro site, that will contain information about the various characters/npc's that we will encounter on our journies. First out in this section is Gandalf.
Wednesday gave us a new Beta Journal, this time from a hunters perspective.
A new point of interest, Brandy Hall and finally some more skilles added to the Classes Section

LOTRO updates

Seems we will be getting beta journals weekley now. Read the post by Ramen here and read this wednesdays journal here.
There's also some new screenshots in the screenshots galery, a new point of interest, Archet, and a exclusive article serie on gamespy's LOTRO section.

Not a very exciting week when it comes to updates.
The tuesday update were some additions to the screenshots gallery and an updated Neekerbreeker profile
Thursday we got a nice view of the The Prancing Pony

Website upgrade

The website has undergone a major upgrade, upgrading through 8 versions of this web-portal application. I've done my best to transfer everything we had that was custom to our site, including themes, blocks and images/smilies/avatars/banners. Let me know if there's anything missing or if something isn't working as it should and I'll try to fix it.
