    FAQ

    1) What are the benefits of being a member of the SHoA?

One major benefit will be the ability to do many things with other Kinships. Let me explain if I may. It is my responsibility as the Messenger of the SHoA to maintain good relations with most Kinships if not all Kinships. I will do this by being respectful and honoring other kinships rules and guidelines. I will promote direct communication between Kinships..( the Portrait interviews will be one example). As your Messenger I will continue to keep avenues open for our Kinship. let me give you a scenario...

    scenario one:

You are sitting on the side of a path. You just nearly got your butooka kicked by a mob of orcs. You are injured and your dagger is broke. You being a book writer and thief have no ability to mend yourself or your dagger......

A member of a different clan comes by and you ask.."will you help me". They look at you and say "who are you and what Kinship". You answer and they reply "nope never heard of you"

A second person walks by and you ask" will you help me"..they look and say..."nope your the bad guy"

A third person walks by and you say "will you help me". They respond.." nope your the good guy"

A Big ol orc comes by and say "mmmmmmm". You being the Interpreter that you are knows "this means lunch"

We all weep at your funeral.

    Second scenario

You are a member of the SHoA and you just have been injured by a mob of orcs. You being a book writer and brewer have no skills to repair your dagger nor heal yourself. You are sitting at the side of the path trying to find out what to do.

Along comes a member from another Kinship. You ask "can you help me". They respond"Hmm well I have heard of the SHoA and you all have given me some help when I needed it even though we are not allies... They think a moment and say.."here let me see that dagger..Ill fix it for you if you pay me well enough". You are very lucky orcs dont like coins so you indeed pay and have your dagger fixed. The other person bids you good luck and goes on.

A few moments later another person comes along. You ask "will you help me". They respond. "oh I know who you are..just last week one of your members helped me with some ingredients I needed. Yes I''ll help you". They trade you a potion for some orc ears you happen to have and they go on thier way.

After feeling much better about yourself you look up and down the path is a big ugly mean looking orc who looks like he has nnot had his dinner yet.. he smiles as he comes upon you but then spots your shiney newly repaired dagger and his eyes bulge..he yells "Ugllaaaah!!". You being the interpreter that you are knows this to mean..."nutses another one of the SHoA folk" These are his last words as he falls under your wrath.

You run to catch up with the last passer by and sell him some more Orc ears..lol

2)What type of allignment will the SHoA be?

the SHoA will be a neutral/good Kinship. We will not be past mischief though. I myself will not stop at theiving if it suits the interests of the Kinship. All members can have a choice as to what type of character they are. We will not impose any rules regarding your characters personality..other then respect all players and have fun.

    3) What type of Races can belong to the SHoA?

We are a kinship that consists of all races of the free peoples of middle earth. Humans, Elves, Hobbits, and Dwarves. Because we hope to interract with most kinships we want members that have some sort of varied experience with other races as to make interaction with most races easy. A member can choose not to like a certain race and that is fine. You can be a loner or solo player or want to be very sociable. this Kinship is for players to have as much freedom in thier choices as possible.
